Beijing Ceremony Introduces Olympic Theme Song
U.K. soprano vocalist Sarah Brightman and Chinese singer
Liu Huan unveiled the official 2008 Beijing Olympics theme song "You And
Me" at the National Stadium (aka the Bird's Nest) during the opening
ceremony in front of a crowd of 91,000.
Bantamweight Gary Russell Jr. will miss the Olympics
after collapsing while trying to make weight, leaving the American boxing team

stands, the Americans record a 40-point blowout of the Czechs to open the
tournament.
After opening their play with a loss to Norway earlier
this week, the U.S. women recover to keep their title defense hopes alive.

The opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics on Friday kept moviegoers glued to
the small screen, as local box office results showed
