A high school cheerleader movie “Bring it on: Fight to the finish”, starring Christina Milian and a prequel short by Vin Diesel called “Los Bandoleros (The bandits)/ Fast & Furious” with the usual cast of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriquez, Tego Calderon and Don Omar (Latin Reggaeton superstars).

Paola Cancellieri reporter for En la escena TV, caught up with Vin Diesel on the red carpet at the Clearview cinema in the Chelsea neighborhood in NYC.

Vin Diesel told her how excited he was to have made this film (Los Bandoleros) in the Dominican Republic with the locals because, it was also his directorial debut and put many people to work.

In addition he has set up a film school in the Dominican Republic, which was founded four years ago called "One World" where young people would be trained on how to write, shoot and edit films, all affiliated with the NYU  film schools 6 weeks intensive training program.

Overall the film festival was a huge success with over 200 films and 100's of moviegoers supporting the Latin community.
