Midwest Fashion Week to set Guinness Book of World Record for World’s Largest Runway Model

Indianapolis, Indiana August 4, 2009—Midwest Fashion Week announces it plans to set the Guinness Book of World Record for the World’s Largest Runway Model at its finale show during the upcoming Midwest Fashion Week, October 2009.

Emanuel Yarbrough, “International Sumo’s Greatest Ambassador”, weighs in at 629 pounds with a height of 6’ 8”.  Yarbrough currently holds the world record for being the World’s Largest Professional Athlete. He will walk the runway Saturday October 17, 2009 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, downtown Indianapolis.

The show will also feature the return of International Fragrance Designer, Geir Ness. Geir Ness of Laila Perfume will once again host the Midwest Fashion Week finale show. Laila Perfume, sold worldwide, is sold exclusively at Nordstrom stores in Indianapolis and has been found in the gift bags for celebrities at events such as the Grammy’s and the Tony Awards, among others.
