friends (of distinction, of course).
It’s good to have you back for another month. Considering the alternative, what a gift it
is to be here! As the heat of summer is
upon us, it’s time for all of those traditional and predictable family
affairs. Speaking of which, I’m off to
the beach, amusement parks, and over-crowded restaurants with my two biggest
joys in this life – my Ruby, and my Jeremiah.
That said,
my purpose this month is to give you all a little something to enjoy with
friends, family and loved ones. And if
that doesn’t work for you, then perhaps you will find it cool enough to do
alone (but when you are done, get out of the house for awhile, will ya?).
Whether it
satisfies your curiosity, whets your trivia appetite, fills your musically
intellectual coffers with endless information (possibly considered useless by
some), or simply pleases you, take a little time out for yourself and visit the
music trivia sites mentioned below. But
don’t horde it all for yourself – share it with those around you. It might just provide you with the mental
break we all need now and again. You may
find that there is a definite tie that binds us together – young and old alike
– in the life and times of The Industry of MUSIC.
