Gigi says Oprah Winfrey is her chosen mentor figure. An extraordinary giver, Gigi served as a "Reading-A-Loud" volunteer to the public school system with the "Reading By 9" program. She also volunteers at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for "Patient and Family Services" and the "Music for Healing" program. In addition, Gigi volunteers with Good Will. Relocating six years ago from New York (born in Chicago), Gigi Iam resides in California. She joined the Sacred Praise Chorale and performs in Music Concerts at Faithful Central Bible Church. The choir is lead by Dr. Diane White, Chorale Director. The Pastor is Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer and Minister of Music, Mrs. Barbara Allen. Other projects include a feature film, two independent film shorts now in production, Mistress of Ceremonies for LAX Department Store (Fashion Show), Mistress of Ceremonies and vocalist for 'The Spirit of Love around the World' musical concert; a powerful inspirational documentary.
