It’s April and the fun is about to begin…Alone with my television show here on the central coast of California, I also manager a Hispanic rap group called LCC which stands for Left Coast Connection. These guys are young and exciting.

LCC has only been rapping as a group for only a year. After moving from different cities in the pass five to six years, these two Hispanic males found each other and now they are on fire. Why is this important, you may ask? Well, the truth of the matter is…it’s not, but what is important is kids all over the county try to make it in the music business and are not successful. It’s not because they are not talented or they didn’t have to right stuff…A lot of the time it’s simply because they didn’t have the right, or enough, support.

So what I did is start a small but effective idea called “development” to help young artist like LCC get a helping hand in this field, especially if they are really serious. I know what you’re probably thinking…this is one of those things! Well sorry, it’s not! It’s a way to help that young artist succeed with his or her talent.

Development is splitting the total amount of a small project for an artist or a group, helping them network and market the product and for your troubles receive interest on your investment. That’s it. You will be amazed what a difference you can make for these guys. Just as we are talking now is the same way you help your team.

LCC is a young group and they are looking to the future. This April they are releasing a new single titled “Let’s get this party started” if you would like to hear it let me know I would love to get your opinion on it.
