Bio – Diana Schaffner

Diana holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration from colleges in Germany where she was born and grew up. In subsequent years Diana committed herself to continuing education primarily in fields such as psychology in general and performance psychology in particular. She has held positions in various corporations such as Siemens, IBM, and Raytheon where she gained experience in marketing, and supply chain management.

During and after her corporate career, Diana has worked extensively in the field of horse rehabilitation, working primarily with animals recovering from severe abuse and neglect. Today, she works as Trauma Recovery Specialist for horses and founder / president of Rising Sun Ranch.

With establishing the nonprofit organization Rising Sun Ranch Inc., Diana is using her knowledge of business, child- and animal psychology to make her lifelong dream of a sanctuary for children and animals a reality. As a true visionary and down to earth business person, she works tirelessly to make a difference in this world for children and animals.
