Matthew LaFountain

Matthew LaFountain is a medical travel agent based in Lansing and Jackson, Michigan.  He recently started Mid Michigan Medical Travel Agency LLC.  This company coordinates medical treatments abroad for individuals who cannot afford the care they need domestically.  Too many Americans cannot access care and Mid Michigan Medical Travel Agency LLC is dedicated to assisting individuals find quality care abroad at accredited international hospitals.

Matthew has experience in the health insurance industry from working at Aetna Insurance in Hartford, CT.  There, he learned about the payor side of America's health care system and began his involvement in Medical Tourism.  He also spent time as an actuarial consultant with Deloitte & Touche of Chicago, IL after that.  He returned to Michigan to complete his degree and help break down barriers in the health care system through medical tourism.
