A published author since 1973, Charlie has written screenplays, plays, monologues and poetry. He is also an actor and director for live theatre. He was instrumental in the founding of several Chicago area theatres, and over the past thirty years has been involved in numerous Jefferson Award winning productions. In New York City in 1983 he was a co-recipient of the Creativity Award for photographic lighting and effects used in magazine publishing.

 

    As president of Mark III Productions since 1996, Charlie has served as a technical consultant to several performing arts centers and theatres in the Midwest, in addition to being an account executive to the exhibition and corporate trade show industries. He recently served as the Technical Director for the Drury Lane Theatre in Chicago, and now spends a great deal of his time working for ABC-7 TV, primarily in production of the popular “190 North” weekly program. He lives in Evanston, Illinois.
